This 5 drawer chest features splits, cracks, and knot holes- all of the aging and refining that can only be provided by Mother Nature herself. This piece is proudly made in the USA of solid American white oak and oak veneers; Vaughan Bassett has devloped ATAP (Accelerate the Aging Process), a process that allows them to accelerate how wood ages. We have kept the splits, knots, cracks and the bold grain pattern found in oak lumber to create this reclaimed look in this beautiful and unique bedroom; Featuring ultra-smooth drawer interiors and self-closing dual steel ball bearing drawer guides located under each drawer; Custom-designed hardware; Vaughan Bassett replaces every tree used to produce its furniture. Over the last 10 or so years, 1.5 million trees have been planted; Complies with ASTM International F2057, a voluntary stability standard for clothing storage furniture. Anti-tip kit included.
